I'm harsh culling. Drives me nuts if I have too many and then rifle through them trying choose what to play and if I skip past the same ones again and again then clearly I dont really want them
Couldnt see myself actually binning any though. Would at least reconstitute the jackets for strays, or maybe wall art

Some barely-related comments.
Dino Jr, I saw them on the Green Mind tour with My Bloody Valentine. I was in HS at the time so didn't have much show going experience. It was LOUD. I asked a guy a bit older than me who was also there if that was just my impression at the time or if it was a notably loud show and he confirmed - the show was loud. So good, we got that sorted.
Yo La Tengo - a friend who had just moved here asked me to accompany her to this show and acknowledged it was a real favor because she knew I not only wouldn't like it but would specifically dislike it. She was right. At this show I came up with the theory that, as a band, if you just REALLY stick at it long enough and just kEEP putting stuff out and touring you will EVENTUALLY develop some kind of following.
Ministry - here in Chicago you are always one step away from someone with an Al Jourgensen story. Most of them involve harassing him about "Halloween Is Every Day." People can't resist!
Gary Numan - I know I am obnoxious. I kind of started with Cars and kept poking around that era, back to the Tubeway Army LP with the white cover and face which I thought was even better than Replicas, then back to those two 12"s of the even earlier demos that I now like the most. But you bet when I first heard "Replicas" I was making some very Replicas-style demos and trying to get people to play them with me. We did actually get a theoretically lineup together in a practice space with a girl singer and I advised she make the lyrics "something about robots." Sage advice. She did well! It just never came together...

iHomo Gary Numan was done as soon as the bass player left. Nuts to think those 3 rad albums all came out in 1979 and that was it. Bass player leaves and the magic was gone.1980's Telekon was a massive dropoff and they were done ffs.

I did not check the lineup or consider the contributions of the bass player but I have no problem believing this theory.
