RFTC had a bloody good sound then. Local Sapporo fellows BT Butchers didnt bring their best to this one, saved it for the "I'm standing nowhere" release in about 1993.
Rocket From The Crypt. 300 yen 7". "On the prowl" Big deal. The B side saves it though, ("Come On") sounds like "On a rope." Great track.

VIVISICK/STRUCK 7" what the hell is this doing in the 33 yen bin? It's on Dan Doh Records! This store is in Japan! I saw Vivisick live a couple of years back and seriously could not cope with their sound. I just couldnt hear a fuckign thing, totally blurred, unrelenting wall of noise. This is way more accessible.... accessible in a trowel-wielding banshee slashing at your knob sort of way. Blazing thrash. Great.
FLASH GORDON 7". never seen anything in stores, at any price, by these guys before and there's the bastard sitting there for 33 fucking yen. fun thrash that tries a zillion styles and pulls it off fucking superbly. i want to play this again and thats not something I can say about a lot of this type of stuff these days. hyperactive thrash thats up there with DRI and TEAR IT UP.
