The place has 5 members online, 4 of whom think counting up to 1 million, 1 post at a time, is the height of creativity. Jesus, with a paid up URL of www.movieforums.com, that's been there for 15, 20 years, there should be THOUSANDS of members online at any one time. There's a reason that place has emptied out and let's just say it's not the remaining 5 members giddy enrapturement with the sphere of creativity. Honest to god, I am trying. It takes a few days, though, when I fail. It's easy to type, though. I had to laugh when the census in Japan uncovered that there were all sorts of people who were dead but their family members were still collecting money as though they were alive. Love it. "Safety country" for sure. Safe for fraud. Very safety for fraud. Forgotten dead. I'll read the article sooner rather than later. It only took 20 minutes to find my forum name. Fuck me. Fuck me. This seems ridiculous. This house has been here for 100+ years and after dramatic extended rain, we get tiny puddles.
And then, I spent years hunting down this particular record for $25 vs $60. But why am I sweating $35 if I'm chucking $17 grand at puddles?

I am busy trying to get anything valuable out of the basement so that when it does flood that I will be rid of all the books people gave me that I didn't want but nothing else will be harmed. Anyway, why waste that 17 grand? The basement gets flooded a bit. Its normal. I'd just stop using it, sell what I can from it, and live in peace. 17 grand can buy a lot of vinyl. And, really, vinyl is way more enjoyable than a basement. I used my basement as a bunker for a while, but it doesn't work. Neighbors still knock on the front door because they can see a light on in the basement and they know it's me down there trying to get work done. knock knock knock. Fucken hell. At least the people knocking let me use their power tools, chainsaws, and so on. This learning to be social thing is an ongoing process. If anybody else is in the same situation, I feel for you. It's a whole level of hell unto itself. |

17 grand can buy a lot of vinyl. $17,000 dollars spent on new wholesale LP's at $10 a pop = 1,170 LP's. Fuck the foundations of the basement, that's enough to lay the foundations to a record shop. Starting to become a wee bit irrationally annoyed at this basement now. Couple of stupid piddly puddles in some dingy basement you don't ever have to set foot in versus a brand spanking new field of dreams record shop. tl/dr Nikkei, if you spend the $$ on some shitty boring water pipes I am spending $17,000 to fly over there and give you a very, VERY stern talking to. |

I don't think that's strange. It's just one creative outlet that is only for me. If there is a good poem in that stack, then somebody a hundred years ago will enjoy it. What's the problem? Nothing.
