This bohemian hideout is my refuge. I detest the internet. I tried Twitter, Instagram, FB, and all those other shit-talking commercial sites where people provide the content and a CEO bans you for being, uh, yourself some Tuesday night. Here I can just fucking say what is on my mind. Imagine! It is almost like the last twenty years of the internet being ruined hasn't taken place. We are all old enough to remember when flying was fun (Thanks Osama bin Laden for ruining flying, asshole) and when the internet was fun (thanks coding dickheads working for commercial giants for ruining a bit of fun on the internet, fuckfaces). Perhaps I have the causes totally wrong, but I don't think my conclusion is far off. Now, I'll read that 75 people are on this site right now. Couldn't fucking care less. There are enough decent people here to make it a good experience. Twitter? 5 billion users yet somehow 6 billion dickheads on at any moment.

I tried Twitter, Instagram, FB, Twitter? 5 billion users yet somehow 6 billion dickheads on at any moment. Twitters vibe is too needy, too desperate. I've spent fuck-all time on there but it's a palpable thing even too a casual observer like me. Every tweet just reads like a desperate plea for "likes" and the validation users think the likes will provide to fill the micro-chasmed cavities in their "online presence". Really? You've never even met the rando twitter cunts, why do you care so much about what they think of your carefully-worded 140-character grovel for attention? You're chasing shadows. No attention will be too much. Get 3 likes for your tweet? A shithead like fat guts Donnie would be SUICIDAL if he only got 3 likes. You can never win. Either way, the platform is going to make you feel like shit. |
