Sort of hard to describe. It's an ensemble piece about a serial killer that isn't a thriller, is funny but not a comedy, It's really good, but I actually don't know how it manages it.

Channel surfed across this, was some deeply riveting shit. And, {Spoiler}
as befittting the case itself, the end was a total lead balloon. A real god diddly-danged nothing burger. The best part was there was no gory serial killer bollox, it was all crime solving malarkie. Kind of frustrating how pre-internet they really did not have a fucking clue how to find baddies though. "I'm going to the LIBRARY! That's how I'll catch the baddie!" How about DNA and CCTV and NSA FFS .  |

This must be an excellent film cos once I started watching I absolutely could not stop. Which is more than can be said for 88% of all films I start watching. The pacing, over the years, seemed so well done
