Watched the recently remastered Blu-ray (which looks fantastic!) and was expecting to be a little disappointed with an old childhood favourite, but it's such a fucking blast. What a great, dumb, wonderful, insane, stupid, exciting film this is. I can't even imagine a film with a fraction of the sheer personality on display here. There are so many things that make no sense but just don't matter at all, and you get a Queen soundtrack and Clancy Brown chewing the scenery with helicopter shots of Scottish scenery and gritty New York. Lambert is charmingly weird and intense. Good times.
