Fingerlady has been collecting little Matchbox and Hot Wheels EVs (she's obsessed with EVs) so I made her a little parking garage in a picture frame to hang on her wall.

If my Dad made that for me when I was a kid I would've thought he was the coolest dad forever and ever. Instead he was Don Drapery philandering deadbeat piece of shit who probably thought I was a little fagget.
I've still got 2 boxes of matchbox cars I played with in the 70's. Fuck knows how they ended up in Japan with me. Must've lugged them back on my last visit in 2007. Not exactly in collectors condition as I played with the things from the ages of 4-10 9 8.
They built em solid back then, with proper little wheels so you could zoom em' around as sprogs should do.
Have a few Hot Wheels but not sure what "EV" entails.

I still buy a little Matchbox car every now and then when I do my weekly shop, they're cheaper than a chocolate, hardly take any space and last forever, so it seems like a reasonable source of dopamine. "EV" for "electric vehicle", since my girlfriend is mad about them and wants one, and I've been giving her tiny ones as occasional presents. She says I have to stop now, but there are a few spots open in that garage. |

My dream little car playset thing was this: 
Micro Machines were extremely cool, but horribly expensive and I was getting a little old for them as they appeared, and the Toolbox City was absurdly priced (in South Africa). I had one of the little pocket Travel City sets, which really demanded collecting so you could make the whole little town, but I was poor.
The way they folded up into little carry cases and you could put them together and take them apart was catnip to me.

Wow never even seen any setups like that Micro Machines were extremely cool, but horribly expensive and I was getting a little old for them as they appeared I agree, 35-years old was pushing it. But fuck the haterz, the heart wants what the heart wants. I had some limited lengths of Hot Wheels tracks but now that I google it, wft, sprog me would have killed for this setup:  |
