A mix of Hollow Man and The Wicker Man with the moral unmooring of the former and the corrupting cultishness of the latter. I think its central fault is that the temptation and seduction of Skarsgard's character isn't plausible given how nightmarish the group he's seduced into is. The tone is so consistently dark and horrifying that it undermines the dynamics a little. If this had been made with more subtlety and humour it'd be better.
