Villeneuve said the film is mostly from the perspective of Chani, which screams MoDeRn AuDiEnCe to me, but the guy's never made a bad film I've seen, and if Sicario was any example, shooting tough guys from a female character's point of view is not the worst idea. |

Saw it last night. It's fucking astounding. Just massive and exciting throughout its whole length. Absolute jaw-dropper, DO NOT MISS ON THE BIG SCREEN.

I just watched this and I liked the first one better, this one was all buildup to a weak climax imo. I read some of the book's plot and it seemed to be better than the movie. The movie cut out a lot of things that made more sense in the book. Or maybe I just wasn't in the mood to watch a two and a half hour movie today. Oh well.
