I had no idea this was a McDonagh film before watching it, so I approached it with lowered expectations because of all the hype and what seemed like trendy/preachy subject matter.
Really enjoyed it. Everyone is complex and has their story, and the performances are great. McDormand is reliably good but Rockwell really hit notes that surprised me.
Included on the Blu-ray was McDonagh's short, Six Shooter, which is a little stilted but nails his hilariously dark and simultaneously touching style in 27 minutes flat.
