Made-for-TV movie I picked up from the BFI shop on one of their rare sales. No real plot, almost no dialogue, just a series of sketches of life as a platoon of soldiers patrolling Northern Ireland. Hard to really critique as a normal film, but feels wildly ahead of its time in terms of technique and general grittiness with no music, realistic audio and performances, feels like documentary footage. Nice, super-grainy transfer of the 16mm.
