Three Chinook helicopters flew over my house yesterday. I see life flight helicopters all of the time because I live near a hospital, it’s depressing because I know the passenger is experiencing one of the worst days of their life.
I will never ride in a helicopter unless it’s a medical emergency, nor will I allow my daughter to ride in one. People die when helicopters malfunction. There’s no way to fly it like there is with an airplane when it experiences problems.

Nope, never getting me in one of those death traps either. Although this bloke in the front has got a hell of a view. Daresay with all the rolly polly I would be doing a Mr Creosote chunder all over the shop if I was in there.

Been up in two, both without doors. A Jetranger when I was about 13 and an MD500 a few years ago. The feeling of the ground dropping below you when you take off is one of the best things I've ever experienced.

There's also the NOTAR system you see now and then.

This one has ejector seats, you girls' blouses. Da FUQ. What does it do, eject you down instead of up?

I think someone forgot to press the glide button.

It doesn't end well, obviously, but it's understandable how making this entrance would make you overconfident.
