It's pretty incredible. I was lucky enough to see an IMAX screening and the sound really impressed me more than almost any other movie I've ever seen. Aside from Offerman doing a slightly lazy Trump riff at the beginning that seemed out of place given the film's commitment to obscuring the politics behind its conflict, I thought it was phenomenal. Garland cranks the tension and threat to horror levels for a lot of the film, and it's exhausting. I was really surprised at how short it was compared to how long it felt. Some of the scenes are so brutally lifelike that I was actually rendered squeamish by it, which is rare for me. I'm interested in revisiting it to watch it without being surprised by it. Strong recommendation.

Sheeeeeeeiiiiitt prolly wayyyy too heavy for a lightweight like me then There's gore and violence, but it's not so extreme, it's more the perfunctory brutality of the violence that sucks you in. It has this nasty ability to get you wrapped up in the action, putting you on a side and then revealing that side to be monstrous and appalling.
