I saw this in the cinema at age 8, and all I remembered of it was my first time hearing the word "bullshit". It's a Pryor vehicle that doesn't make much use of Pryor, but it's still a fun film. I love these '80s and '90s films that act as exuberant little tours of their respective cities, like Ferris Bueller, Die Hard 3, Home Alone 2 and so on, and this is a nice one. It definitely makes '80s New York seem like a beautiful theme-park version of itself.
