I didn't think it was as satisfying as the first two Deadpools, but I did laugh a lot at the meta-humour and digs at the decline in quality of the Marvel movies. It's overlong and the story is almost entirely irrelevant background to the relentless japery, but it throws so much spaghetti at the wall that there's enough for a meal even if most of it doesn't really stick. Jackman's straight-man to Reynolds' clown is a pretty good dynamic. I think what I enjoyed most about this was how it gleefully embraces every criticism of its subject matter while still showing affection for the highlights of the various series. The cameos are really nice.
I like a fair few of the MCU films quite a bit although revisiting them is seldom without a bit of tooth-sucking, and the various other series have some fun entries too. I don't particularly care too much to see anymore superhero films, but if the tone and content of the Guardians of the Galaxy films could be explored a bit, that'd be nice. I'm not a snob about "capeshit" (although the rabid fans are insufferable), but think we're due for a space opera revival thanks to things like Dune and the Expanse showing what you can do in that vein these days.

Far be it for me to judge what brings people happiness but adult men going berko for kiddie comic superhero movies is A Peculiar Thing. Sounds like the gags in this would not be for wee kids anyway?

No, this is distinctly adults-only (although every kid has seen anal fisting on their phone at this point).

Polished this off, some wild and way out there ideas.
Didnt get most of the references as I dont follow the Marvel Universe.
Daftly enough I didnt even laugh much at all ffs.
Fast forwarded past all the fight scenes as they're just choreographed Jackie Chan bullshit set to "ironic" 80's pop hits.
Was it just me or did Reynolds seem way more camp in this one?

Yes, he was playing the gay flirting for laughs throughout.
