This is an utter, harebrained mess, but it's lavish and innocuous enough that it's not as detestable as its reputation suggests. Everything is just a bit off, making it an oddly detached and uninteresting experience. The script seems to have been written by multiple groups of writers who had no contact with each other, with half the dialogue in Olde Englische and half in something approximating the formal English couples use at the altar. It's a failure, and not worth seeking out.
