This really feels like it's going to be a great movie, and it's got excellent performances and interesting themes, but it's so narratively unsatisfying that I wanted to scream at the end. There's no denouement, climax, or resolution, just endless twists and turns and shifting suspicions that amount to "everybody's an arsehole out for money and revenge".
It feels like an arthouse film dartboard was used and instead of focusing on a specific theme, they decided to make a whodunnit where everyone is a cipher for something Significant.
