I think this is a bit of a mess, but it's never less than entertaining. The comedy is funny, but in a way that sometimes undermines the horror scenes. The premise is basically quite silly, but to the point where it feels like the surreal logic of a nightmare. I think reading any particular message into the film is a bit futile. It's not Get Out, but it's definitely worth a watch.
