I am generally a little wary of movies of a romantic-erotic nature because they tend to be unconvincing or just sleazy. This is so beautiful, with such exquisite photography, and such achingly intense and understated performances, that despite very little really happening it is impossible to tear your eyes from the screen. If you're a bit jaded, you'll probably think the movie is signposting some melodramatic events, but it isn't. It's got its moments of purposefully heightened reality, but otherwise it's just a kind of continual build of reserved longing. Do not miss seeing it in a cinema. Looks almost like a living painting.

Do not miss seeing it in a cinema. Vic, brace yourself... I havent set foot in a cinema since 2003.
I heard millenials just fuck around on their phones the whole time and ruin the experience for everyone anyway
