78% on RT but this thing felt like it took about 5 hours. If it wasnt a Boned film I probably would have given the fuck up after an hour.
I liked how they portrayed all Russkis as violent hair-trigger tempered alkies. Especially the chicks.
Bugger all CGI in 1995 so all that tank trashing had to be real. Couple of epic car chases but the opening sequence of Boned chasing a crashing Cessna off a cliff then falling and positioning himself in midair INTO the plane cockpit and saving the plane had me LMFAQ off for about 20 minutes into the film. THE most impossibly stupid OTT moment in Bond franchise history.
Used to think Pierce Brosnan was a bit too foppy Lord Farquar to be Bond but I've come around to him. At least he's got wry comic timing to complement the handsome and debonair thing. Unlike that wooden klutz Timmeh Dalton. Timmeh and his off the rack suits. Timmeh and his gormless witless nothingness. I can't even remember what Timmeh looks like now. And neither can the chicks who turned him down.

I don't like any of the Brosnan Bonds. I don't think there's anything wrong with him, but there's something frantic and annoying about them that I don't get from the worst of the Moores.

The villain's lair was "original" I suppose. Good spot for an epic battle. Not exactly a swinging 60's split-level shagpile-carpeted grotto though was it. 3/10.
