10/10 This is one of the best films I have ever seen.
I don't recall a single instance where the camera moved during this film. All the movement seemed to take place within static shots. I have been thinking about it and maybe this represents how Desmond is trapped in the past. Time = movement and she won't move on, so the camera, which is the thing that caused this in the first place!... is her prison. Of course, I am probably wrong and there are loads of moving camera shots. I haven't read any reviews yet. But this is a great idea, I think, and too bad, Billy Wilder, that you didn't talk to me before you made your masterpiece.

I just saw an episode of I Love Lucy where Lucy goes to hollywood with the Mertz’ because Ricky is gonna be in a movie, and so the actor who played main character from Sunset Blvd is in this episode, but he plays himself. Lucy and the Mertz’ go to lunch at the Brown Derby and are starstruck when this actor is sitting in the booth next to them. Well! As you can imagine, a few comical mishaps occur and Lucy ends up causing a waiter to fall, dumping a shitload of food onto this actor. He was not pleased.
