Been working my way backwards seasonally through these happy funtime light comedy drama vignettes but FFS, SEASON 3, EPISODE 3, WFTTTT WAS THAT BLACK-SOULED FUCKING CRATER-COCKED BULLSHIT??
This fucking one:
If this particular episode of the TV show entitled "Black Mirror" does NOT look familiar to you then please, please, please, NEVER, EVER, EVER WATCH THIS EPISODE OF THE TV SHOW NAMED "BLACK MIRROR". NO. JUST DON'T. GETTING A BIT CURIOUS ARE WE? IMMEDIATELY ADMINISTER 20 HAIL MARY COCKPUNCHES TO YOUR BALLSACK REGION AND, ONCE YOU HAVE CAUGHT YOUR BREATH, QUICKLY MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE. YOU ARE FUCKING WELCOME.
I know, I know, I'm going to sound like a parody of an idiot from a satirical news story "Local Idiot Feels Bleak Ending To Black Mirror Episode During Global Pandemic "Just A Bit Much" but... FFFFFFFFFFS
I've marvelled at the brilliance at most episodes in season 6 and 5 and 4 but FFFFFS S3 ep3 was just BEYOND THE FUCKIGN PALE.
The fucking thing started bleakly, quickly piled on the misery, then swiftly ratcheted up the tension, hastily added in more pain, heartlessly threw in a heaping helping of exasperation, cruelly ladled in buckets of abjectly inhumane terror and then, just when you're thinking okay, there must be SOME sort of faint hope for SOME character involved in this episode of a television show, a medium that is after all loosely tethered to the entertainment realm, that is when Brooker coldly marinades your last tendril of hope in a Marianas trench worth of fucking tears, casually dashes your brains all over the sharpish corner of the coffee table, and abruptly shows himself out.

Ok I do remember this episode and the whole time I was thinking what’s the big deal? Yes it’s embarrassing for people to see you jerking off, but it’s like what do they expect? People jerk off. People can’t judge too harshly for that. But then the twist ending kicked in and I was like daaaaaamn. Unless I’m completely mistaken about what episode this is. Remember the one with the robot dog?

I was going to re-watch from season 1 over Christmas but this thread made me want to watch it now. So I watched season 1 again last night and it's still very good. Just letting you know.

Just finished Shut Up and Dance (the first episode you wrote about in the thread) and I had forgotten the twist. Jesus. I love this show.

I'm on the dating episode now. All the data we input into FB and twitter and sites like this will lead to this AI determining who we should be with. I need to start tailoring my posts to Eric Bana.
Electric Dreams is excellent, too, if anyone is looking for a similar show.

Tried ep 1 of new season but flagged it. The premise was so stupid I kind of was almost curious enough to see how it panned out...... but sadly not curious enough
Salma was there but kept her almighty bazzongas under wraps.

Ep 3 Beyond The Sea. An 80 minute episode? That's a film ffs. This is the one with Jesse Pinkman as an astronaut. After the brilliance of ep2 I was ready to give this one a red hot go. Flagged it after a fairly laborious yet slightly intriguing 40 mins. Not keen to watch Pinkman get {Spoiler}body snatched by his space pal who would wind up rooting Pinkman's wife . Which is my guess as to how this episode panned out.

ep 4 Mazey Day
Short and sharp.
Some respite from the tech dystopia for some straight-up horror.
Really liked this one.
