I am not going to rate this film, it cannot be rated using numbers or letters. Maybe I'll give it 136 erections out of 77 key lime pies.
It is unreal that at the end of this film, which is FOUR HOURS long, I wanted it to continue. There were points I was like wtf and when is this going to end but then it would grab me again. Some of the dialogue was dumb and awkward and I wondered if this should have been a tv series instead of a film but in the end it was definitely worth all four hours. I felt like there was a cultural barrier stopping me from truly getting some of this but I also found it very funny at times. I've never seen anything like it. It's bursting with energy and passion. I am going to watch all of Sono's films.
Takahiro Nishijima is one of the prettiest people I've ever seen. I'm talking near Michael Jackson circa 1984 level pretty. I hope in my next life I get to look like him, whichever gender I come back as.
Sprague Dawley, I think you would really like this film.
