Been checking this out this week. I'm a fan of monsters/x-files style movies and TV shows so it's right up my alley. I also know a local actor who is in two of the episodes.
It's an 8-episode anthology. Each episode is a standalone with a different monster. I'm halfway through the series so far and pretty much digging it.
The cast is pretty good and although you might not know their names, the actors have been in a lot of films and TV shows. Some you'll definitely recognize from their other work (a young guy in the New Orleans episode, for example, who was the video store manager in Stranger Things, and another guy you might recognize as one of the police detectives in Joker) The two biggest names are probably Kelly Marie Tran (Star Wars), Taylor Schilling ( and Mike Colter (Luke Cage).
They have a different director for each episode, which makes it more interesting to watch with their variety of experience and technique.
Special effects are okay. Pretty much X-Files level. The stories are good so far. The only possible downside is that they've left most of the episodes open-ended so you don't quite know if they were resolved.
Shit - looks like we can't do spoiler code here. So I don't want to give anything away.
Anyway, enjoying it thus far.

So is this "horror" horror or The Walking Dead gore'n'giggles-style horror?
Also, are there millenials? I cannot abide smarmy, know-it-all millenials.

Having not seen The Walking Dead I can't compare... I suppose there's a couple of chuckles in most episodes but I wouldn't go so far as to call it horror comedy.
It's a mix. And people get eaten. So it's all good.
