 Did anyone go trick or treating this year? Did you wear a costume? Did you do anything fun or anything at all? Here is a thread to share your stories. Did not wear a costume this year and was planning to do nothing but then got invited to some private rave type thing so I went with my gf. You needed to have a mandatory covid test to enter, which I didn’t have the results, but they were like....eh, whatever. And let me in anyway. I was expecting about 10 people and was surprised to find about 15. It was still very fun, and I did ketamine, which I hadn’t done in years. My brains feel like scrambled eggs today. |

Veged out on sofa for my usual Sunday night binge of 4 episodes of BBC murder mystery "New Tricks". Didnt even realise it was Halloween. Pathetic. I did ketamine, which I hadn’t done in years. My brains feel like scrambled eggs today. You should start a drug addiction guide thread so those of us serving virtual house arrest life sentences can live vicariously through your wild and free exploits |

I use to work at a bunch of clubs and people would come in high on ketamine all the time. You could always tell because of the way they kept moving their jaws.

Are we to believe he had the strength to hold that safe in his hands over the ledge until the moment it dropped on the person below’s head at the exact moment that “someone” put a knife through his skull causing him to drop the safe?  No no no. This crime scene has clearly been tampered with. |

The family stand around the scene wearing navy blue "Forensic Investigator" jackets while writing in notepads, occasionally deploying tape measures and taking crime scene photos. I remember the first couple years Halloween kind of kicked off in Shibuya, there was talk of a gaijin climbing a lamp post!
(I never attended, just heard)
It seemed to just get worse and worse, then I moved home and forgot about it to the extent that on my last trip over last year I basically was not thinking about it being 10/31 at all; it was just the day we had a couple things to do in Shibuya, hit the disk union and was walking back to the station around 7 pm maybe and you could just see it turn to shit -- super aggressive dick cops, very unusual for japan, but i think they were prepped for hordes of dick gaijin roping off the street and getting people out of the way. I was happy as hell to get out of there.
Here's a reasonable guideline: anything every jackass tourist and foreigner is flocking to in Japan is bad, and you should stay away.
