 This show is nuts. Today’s sophisticated audiences would never accept a show about a talking horse, but this was a smash hit back in the 1940’s or something. I’ve been looking everywhere to stream reruns but can only find one episode. It’s an episode concerning Wilbur’s inheratance to Ed. I still can’t figure out how they made the horses lips move. |

We got the odd rerun of this in the 70's on the Pitcairns. I loved it. The horse had a great comic turn. Didnt even think of him as a "horse" horse really. Just some talking funny guy who looked like a horse.

Yeah but how did they get him to chew at the exact moment he needs to say something? And how did they manage to get him to mouth the words so perfectly?
