I remember Bohemia being the best of the commercial beers, and more expensive than the Modelos...But when cases were bought for parties or whatever, it was usually Corona or Sol. And...it was also common to get Caguamas from small markets - Bodegas - and these were usually cheap-o beers. The coup in Niger is an absolute blinder being played out in front of our eyes.

Country after country was invaded, couped or election-rigged into NATO/EU compliance for decades until in 2014 they reached the border of Russia and that set off Russia's Donbass operation in response.
A lot of countries suddenly experienced the reality of American power when they were cut off from SWIFT or had assets seized for remaining neutral on the war, as well as civilian expats who probably left Russia because of Putin. As a result, the rest of the world has quietly decided to abandon the US dollar as a reserve currency, some even returning to gold, because they would prefer to buy cheaper products or resources from Russia, India or China.
The idea that you could be an economic superpower while all your production and natural resource collection were offshored was always stupid, and now that the country that supplies cheap energy is off the leash, the Rules-Based Global Order has poured its ageing arsenals into a pointless, unwinnable proxy war, and all loyalties are proven hollow, all it took was a backward country in Africa to reject obvious Western election tampering, tell their French colonial tagnuts to fuck off and you have Victoria Nuland in Niger asking nicely for their guy back while the locals wave Wagner flags. 10% of French uranium (which powers a LOT of Europe) is now loyal to Russia.
The only question I have is was the Wagner "rebellion" a total fakeout to distract from their Niger mobilisation or what? Prigozhin seems happy as a clam right now.
Personally, as someone whose country fell victim to the fists-and-rainbows ideals of US post-Cold-War triumphalism, seeing the US Government eat shit over the last few years has been a delight. Maybe there's a future that doesn't involve every country gradually turning into the same multi-ethnic conflict zone after all.
