Vocal fry is one of the most annoying affectations and trends ever, second only to butt implants. I'm taking "like" out of my vocabulary too, vocal fry people use "like" way too much.

WFT I had no idea what this was but as soon as I read "vocal fry" I knew exactly what it was. Perhaps occupies the same onamatopoeic landscape as the audio term "sibilance" which is fuckign impossible to describe in words but you somehow know it as soon as you hear it. "Oh shit, wft is that terrible sound, goddamn, turns out I know what 'sibilance' is..." |
