I and Jeff Bezos might be the only people on the planet watching The Expanse but I love it. It's realistic, dramatic, funny, and mind-expanding. Season five just launched on Amazon Prime and there are only three episodes up right now. I don't know what the release schedule is.

Think I got about 3 episodes in before the keelhaul cockdrag dialogue had me crying no mas. Of course, it looked awesome. Which might've been why I made it all the way through 3 episodes. WFT are you trying to say here Wirthling.

I tried this twice but couldn't get into it. From what I understand, it's absolutely worth it to get through season 1 but I haven't been able to get into it. I'm going to give it another shot in the new year.

I like shiny things, and The Expanse has a lot of shiny things.
It also has Amos, who is a fun/scary character I love. And Avasarala, Drummer, and Bobbie.

WFT are you trying to say here Wirthling. I am saying I am pals with Jeff Bezos obvs. If Jeff Bezos gave all 876,000 Amazon employees a $105,000 bonus (thats 10 MILLION fucking yen ffs), he'd be left with exactly as much money as he had at the start of the pandemic.
What a cunt!

Proper sci-fi that's really well made. Finished season 4 last night, waiting for the next Blu-ray set to be released. This would have been my dream show as a teenager.

Finally got seasons 5 and 6 on Blu-ray. Leaves some loose threads at the end if they ever decide to continue but the end is still satisfying if they don't. Fingerslady stayed up 'til 02h30 on Monday morning she was so hooked and wanted to finish the season.
Possibly the best sci-fi show.

Start in again from s2? ps this forum really missed a trick not getting wirthling properly on board It's been a while since I watched S1, but I don't think there's anything particular distinguishing it from the other seasons. I might have to concede a taste issue. You don't like the Belters' pidgin English?

started in again at s2 ep1
The look of it is just epic.
Wonder what Gerry Anderson the visionary behind "Thunderbirds" would have made of it. He'd probably watch it in slow mo just to take in all the hi-tech scifi spacey intricacies of it all.
