Apparently the 3rd biggest box office flop of all time.
Budget: $100 million
Worldwide gross: $7.1 million
Shortfall: $92.9 million
4% on RT.
The reviews there are not flash.
The result is something quite rare in professional show business: 1 1/2 hours of pure blankness. It's there but it's not there. It is but it isn't. It has nothing to offer. It's not forgettable, really, because there's nothing to forget.
A paralyzingly dopey mess, Pluto sat on the shelf for more than a year while Warner Bros. tried to inject some life into it.
