Cool idea in theory. Post "bandwidth war" future saddoes living in virtual reality rather than facing shithole reality. But. This film is a fucking video game. I may be a juvenile 14-year old knob-end but this film's target market is 10-year old boys who are currently obsessed with watching other people playing video games. Cos thats all that happens here. You watch a video game. I don't know anything about video games. I've never played one.

Lasted 30 minutes. Fuck you Speilberg.

It's okay. Really for tweens, who will probably be mystified by all the references. I didn't dislike it, and there are things in it that are likeable, but I was checked out through most of it. I liked some of the characters and occasionally the sheer visual overload was fun.
