 Matthew Mcconaghey does The Acting in this one. He plays a cocksure, arrogant, overconfident guy in this film. So, basically himself. Is he even acting or is that just his normal character? Fucked if I know. They must've been doing something right though cos this film was fairly engrossing. A lawyer/courtroom/murderer scenario. It's so weird watching people bunched together in close confines from the years before The Event. Squished into dark, packed windowless public bars. They aren't wearing respirators or facial shields of even mouth filters. So carefree and wild. They actually breach social distancing protocols with reckless abandon and don't even receive public censure. So weird. It creeps me out now to see maskless pre-Eventers deploying facial expressions such as "smiles" etc. LOL@ historical concepts of "happiness". |
