They need to remake that episode with ben affleck batman and jared leto joker. Hopefully they can jog out into the dead flat surf and suddenly wheel in those monster waves from Portugal as a fake backdrop "Watch out, Batman, the Joker is right behind you! Quick, use the shark repellent in your utility belt! Not too much spray, be frugal, Batman! Hang ten! Do the 360! Do the Cabin Walk!"

You just KNOW The Big One will hit right Tokyo during the Olympic Games.
YOU JUST KNOW IT.
A karmic debt to be exacted, Mount Fuji's ashen tsunami will rain down a grey and leaden retribution upon your lies, Bach.

Usually we get 3 or 4 unbearable days in a row during August of 30+ degrees murder then it quickly tapers off and 6 weeks later we're abruptly back in snow.
This year and it's only mid-July and we're already in the midst of the 4-day 35 degree GTFO Fest

LLLLOLLLL after at least 20 straight days of over 30 degrees the stupid damn hellfire spell is broken.
26 and raining today. Cop that S.Ben and tsukebe jiji!
Tomorrow at 6am, 9 (NINE!) degrees and raining. Might just go outside then and sit on the balcony in the rain just to experience freezing my arse off again.

Heat domes over and record temps in So. America and Oz! (We visited Adelaide our last trip to Oz, 2014 or so, end of Jan. and there was a massive heatwave the day we landed, about 44 C and it felt like being in a sauna, fir realz...)
Massive underwater volcano eruption!
Not that I am completely dissing AGW, but I do think keeping an eye on the pole shift and giant anomalies in the magnetic field might be wise... If you really want a deep dive...

NASA is actively monitoring a strange anomaly in Earth's magnetic field: a giant region of lower magnetic intensity in the skies above the planet, stretching out between South America and southwest Africa.

We went there that trip you and I met up in Sydney...It was only hot like that the day we arrived and it cooled down quite a bit after that. Adelaide was aight, obvious noveau riche - I distinctly remember explaining to my wife what "gluten-free" meant for the first time. Kangaroo Island and wine country like proper touros! I was impressed by how laid-back and non-gaudy the Barossa was actually... Adelaide kept getting hotter and wiki P has a year-by-year breakdown of the 2010's!

I guess I'm just a pussy and getting old.
1) I realize this thread is, sort of, about climate change. Also there's a bar somewhere called Ni Hao which sounds super Japanese, meaning I know it's Chinese but it's easy words that a Japanese bar would think it clever to name themselves.
2) On to me being a pussy, this is the first year I find myself thinking, fuck man, it's fucking cold. I mean I guess I was a guy and things just didn't bother me. Tokyo, had my little AC/heat guy in the bedroom, didn't do too much through the next room to the kitchen, did absolutely fuck all in the shower room. I remember being in there while on a rare day of snow and thinking, yep, well, I shower in a room that is pretty much the same temperature as it is outside, and it's snowing outside. Not phased! Now I sit on my ass all day in a big American house with a giant furnace, that is 17 years old, it's just a matter of time, and I think fuck, I am cold, all the time now.
3) My dad and conservatism. I can mention something off hand, let's run a hypothetical but pretty close to actual conversation. Me: Hi Dad: Hi, how are you Me: Pretty good, little chilly Dad: THEY'VE BEEN SAYING IT'S UNPRECEDENTED WEATHER FOR DECADES BUT IT'S NOT THERE IS A PRECEDENT FOR THIS WE NEED TO IMPOSE TERM LIMITS ON THESE BUM POLITICIANS! Me: I seriously have things to do. I mean, depending on the time of day, maybe. Sometimes I feel busy. Other times my wife Camp Leader works late and I dick around on this bizarre quasi website. Dad: Your generation disgusts me. Let's have a war.

Yeah when you put it like that I could totally see it having panned out like that
I still marvel at how cold I was at in-laws house in Chiba. I like to brag what a hard cunt I am, unphased living in -20 degrees Hokkaido, but I have NEVER been as cold as I was in that FUCKING house in Chiba. Built in the 1960's and the wind literally cut right through the cunt. Big tough Hokkaido man having to go to bed wearing his down jacket? Are you shitting me? It's minus 20 degrees in Hokkaido, why am I so fucking cold in this fucking idiotic house? No way could I take my arctic down jacket off. No way. One room has a little heater going, the rest of the premises are like some off-limits tundra, hostile to human habitation.
You want to do the dishes? Sorry, it takes about 3 letters to the council in Funabashi to turn the hot water on so you'll have to use cold water. That shit was straight from the arctic cock of one of those ice shelves. My hands were NUMB after doing the dishes.
We thank you for your service. Feel free to do anything on the website. Stupid poles, idiotic picture threads, ffs dump half of youtube on here I dont care. tl/dr we need more dicking around. 80% of the forii membership are a dead fucking loss.

Starting to dare to dream that we may have cheated summer. Only had 3 or 4 days at 30 degrees and none in August yet and, crucially, the weather forecast for the next 3 weeks has nothing over 27 degrees. Havent even been reduced to dragging the fan to the foot of the bed yet. Last year I mustve spent 3 weeks with that cunt cranking on my feet.
Fuck.
FUCK!
Have we somehow skated past the worst of it? Summer generally ends freakishly fast here. After the dogdays of August and September it can actually be snowing again by October
