 Pretty decent sci fi mini series from the guy who made annihilation. the story is good, and it looks cool, but i’m mostly here for the soundtrack by geoff barrett from portishead fame. If you liked annihilation you’ll probably like this. |

Gave up on this for whatever reason ages back. Should I give it another crack? That promo pic looks promising. Didnt make it that far. Makes it look a bit Jurassic Park but for humans. Lilliput?

I would say so, especially if you liked annihilation or ex-machina (i liked annihilation, but not really ex machina). I think this series at least does sci fi better than expanse or snowpiercer.

I think this series at least does sci fi better than expanse or snowpiercer. Despite really rooting the movie haven't bothered with the telly series as any review I read wasnt exactly glowing with praise |

My gf’s two favorite sci fi shows are expanse snd snowpiercer and i watch them both with her but don’t follow along as closely as she does. and she agrees, snowpiercer is pretty dumb. I remember explaining the premise of the show to my brother over the phone and feeling very embarrassed. but we are entertained by this show.
Devs on the other hand is a show in which i cared about the plot. It’s got some very silly things about it as well, it’s slow, but i enjoyed it. I almost wanna watch it again.
