Got to see two episodes at a red carpet screener. It's really good and you should definitely watch it.

I'd NEVER wear white boxers with that outfit.

It's good. I think it gets a little over-twisty to the point I was rolling my eyes a bit toward the end, but it's a nice little series.

finished ep 1 of this {Spoiler} bit of a bogan soapy but nice setup. Mundane local crimes juxtaposed with brief glimpse of corpse in creek at the end of episode. Bit potty how even "poor" Americans all live in real nice big multiple-storied houses though LOL

Up to e3 now and this is {Spoiler} bleak as hell. I'm not used to seeing my dramas with all poor people and their utterly dreadful dead-end lives. Looking forward to "Succession" coming back on so I can be done with these miserable pricks.
Pretty funny how the main woman has the perfectly symmetrical physiognomy of a deadset Hollywood spunk so the makeup people had to knock themselves out to make her hair as stringy as possible and zero makeup and tell her to eat cakes for 3 months to gain the weight. Then as soon as she gets a date she washes her hair and puts on an ounce of makeup and instantly she's back to being the Hollywood spunk

I've been in ANZ for 13 years and I still can't get used to the way "spunk" is used here.

"O, HAY GUYZ, just me, the dowdy stringy-haired chubby detective from Mare of Easttown. Not a red carpet Hollywood supermodel."

Polished this off. Can see why it was so {Spoiler} popular. Only 7 eps but it really takes up residence in your brain. Bit of a chick-heavy sob story though. What a bunch of fuckups they are. All emotional and crying all the time and killing each other and fucking around all over town. Jesus. Just take it easy for a bit ffs

I remember liking this at the time, but i can’t remember anything about it many months later. I guess that means it was entertaining but not good? That’s my problem with most tv post pandemic, it’s just entertaining. It just gives you enough to get to the next episode, but no more.
