It feels redundant saying this but it's awful. Only good thing in it is Josh Lawson's comic performance as Kano, which is so at odds with the stupid self-seriousness of the film that it feels like someone saying "just kidding!" when they've insulted you and you're pulling out a weapon.

It was very bloody but I didn't find the violence particularly shocking. There was a scene where someone got slowly, gorily bisected with a spinning blade and everyone just laughed and cheered. There's no good martial arts in it either, really.
