Sometimes you just want a silly, old-fashioned action movie set in the jungle and I bought this because it has a sort of "innocent fun" reputation, but it's just bland and juvenile.
Billy Zane gives a cheerfully flippant sort of performance, and Kristy Swanson is always nice to look at, but there's no cast chemistry, and Treat Williams is a crap villain. I'm sure Moses would appreciate Zane's ridiculous physique here. Catherine Zeta Jones, like Angelina Jolie, is as ever the reliable indicator of cinematic mediocrity.
I'm pretty disappointed, really.
