It's okay. I'd say my main criticism is that wacky characters and wacky dialogue are competing with a wacky setting and so it all gets a bit much. I had a few drinks before which probably made me better disposed to it.

Fuck the Guardian. Whinging pommy sooks. I was entertained by this film. Light mood, lots of biff, radio rental shenanigans.
Marvellous how inside the span of 2 hours there was more violence than the combined entirety of Japanese society has seen in the last 20 years. Shinkansen's, renowned for being wild havens of ultra violence and unpoliced lawlessness. Meanwhile in real life if anyone even farts sideways on the things there's a National Commission of Enquiry
Burapi's hair was on point. Creepy as hell him {Spoiler} standing next to Sandra Bullock at the end though. Brad's distinguished aging lines vs Sandy's HORRIFIC Wacko Jacko deathmask of an unlined plastic surgery face. God WFT. She can't even make expressions through that thing any more.
