I'm seeing a lot of these that read like a title of an episode of Seinfeld, "The [noun]."
The Batman seems the most absurd. I'm pretty sure this should just be called "Batman," and in fact I'm pretty sure there is a movie called "Batman?"
Who cares.
"The Accountant."
This is a ridiculous film title.
Star Wars should definitely be retitled "The Star Wars."
The Last Mountain, The Shape of Water, The Lost City, The Suicide Squad.
What are some other "The" movies I would like not so much to see, but to see exist.
The Record Collector. That's a horror film, obviously.
The Japan Aficionado. I feel like these are all going to be horror movies.
The Capitol. This is a 6 part Netflix documentary on America's finest.
The Experience. This could be pretty much anything.
The The The. A documentary on the band.
The Internet. This would be quite a movie.

It does lend an element of grandiosity to proceedings.... until, as you say, it ventures into the absurd. Eg, if "Paddington" were to become "The Paddington" that would just be weird.
Surely an intersection where the mundane gets spiced up just that little bit to make it more memorable is the ideal. Eg for "Bernie" to become "The Bernie" would lend a jocular effect. "Haha, what a dag. Good ol' Bernie! We called him The Bernie!"
tl/dr; FML.
