Bit lower on RT than I thought it would be, in the 70%'s. The reviews fairly mixed. I thought it was brilliant how the plot unfolded backwards Las Vegas hotel staff must HATE this film. Surely its spurned a million frat boy knobends who are all "lets relive the Hangover film! Let's biff our bed on the roof! OMG I dont know how I woke up here, I can't remember anything! I must have been so drunk! What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! I am surely a wild and crazy guy! A bit like in that move "The Hangover"! Was this the start of Bradley Cooper? Better watching the 2nd time around, Zach G has some absurd zingers in this thing.

I actually found this film very disappointing. I felt like the story could have unfolded so that the depths of their debauchery were revealed progressively, rather than immediately with a trashed suite and tiger in the bathroom.

I felt like the story could have unfolded so that the depths of their debauchery were revealed progressively, rather than immediately with a trashed suite and tiger in the bathroom. Interesting take. Although maybe you're expecting too much from such a drongos film there squire. When they made it they were probably thinking "fun frivolous fratboy comedy" and not "uber-developed plotline chicanery". I thought it was a very smart device. Hell, 20 mins in and that hotel suite scene turns the film on its head and gets everyones attention.

I like lowbrow stuff, don't get me wrong. I think I'd have just found everything funnier if the reactions to things were subtler, more pained and confused as they realise what they've done. I don't want to shit on the joy of a silly comedy, I think I just expected more from it due to the hype that surrounded it. Same thing with American Pie, which I only saw a few years ago and was, aside from a few moments, bored by.
