A nice old-fashioned action chase movie. I can't explain the abysmally poor ratings except that it's nothing anyone hasn't seen a million times. Tommy Lee Jones reprises his role from The Fugitive and if you enjoyed his brand of brusque competence there it's as much fun here.

I have seen this movie a number of times. I enjoy it. Never looked at what others think of it. Camera work is good. The acting is good. It's not like I ever expect a great story from Hollywood so most of what holds my interest is the way the cameras suck the audience into the story. Of course, having great actors makes that easier because we want to see them. What I can no longer really stand is the worship of films like Star Wars or LOTR. Fuck me fuck me fuck me. The first was good for 8-year old children. The second is such a great set of three novels that I can't believe they were ever written. Hell, I can barely write this fucken reply. U.S. Marshals is good enough that I'll watch it again this summer. Thanks for the reminder.
