This was pretty good. Better than the jokey premise really deserved. I have no idea what Johnson was really attempting to do, but what he did was kind of incredible in terms of how engaging and straight it was played with high school students being served breakfast in their parents' kitchen talking like hard-boiled gumshoes.
Really poor Blu-ray transfer, which is a shame as it's a good-looking film. Audio was pretty good though.
