I enjoyed Gunn's Suicide Squad a lot, and this is an even funnier entry in the adult superhero comedy subgenre, verging on the insane manchild territory of Step Brothers. Cena is absolutely hilarious.

I didn't bother to watch the first one, but I like Gunn's sense of humour and the sheer bonkers-ness of the second one (which is barely a sequel in any meaningful way) is incredible. Don't read up about it, the final setpiece is one of the most hilariously insane things a large budget film has ever put on screen.

up to ep 6 now and this thing is PERFECT.
Usually with this crashbang superhero bolllox its the dialogue that's almost an afterthought. This Jason Gunn guy has a brilliant ear for comedy. I would now watch anything with his name on it.
This thing is already wayyyy better than the overyyped "Boys" which dies on its ARSE every fucking time the tearfully dull Supergirl character is on screen.
