I hope Bridges either goes back to his old shot and stops trying to fix something that wasn't broken. I don't want to waste the entire season developing something that didn't need to be developed. People are saying the Lakers did good because of the improved coaching. I wonder how Reddick affects their playoff chances. They might not be in the play-in this year. I really do wonder how Reddick can improve things there in L.A. It's like Davis and James need to play perfect games to win in the playoffs. Bridges, listen to the advice above!

Knicks destroyed the Pacers and they are the most offensive minded team in the NBA. Seriously though if the Knick's defense is this good, how dominant are the Celtics this year? I hope the Celtics game was just a fluke and the Celtics regress. Also the Lakers just went 3-0 if they go 5-0 i'm going to start thinking they have a chance of making the WCF.

I was watching the Knick game, but even though the Pacers won I'm still impressed that the Celtics came back.

KAT fits right in there in New York. Always good to beat Miami. KAT with 44. He is going with the flow so far. That guy can score from so many spots.
Celtics are bloody good. Had a bad night and still got it to overtime.

Knicks crushing Detroit. Not a surprise. I did notice that Bridges was leading the starters in plus/minus. And has hit 3 of 6 three-pointers. Time left, but a good game for him.

I hope blowing out these awful teams give the Knicks some confidence and help them with chemistry. We could've easily won that Cavaliers game but our defense isn't there yet.

Town and Bridges had a terrible night on the defensive end. Fuck. The entire team was bad on the offensive end too. Is Houston known for defense or something? i'm trying to figure out why the Knicks were bricking so much layups.
Also the Lakers lost to the Pistons, so maybe all that JJ Reddick praise came to early.

Houston is up and down. Hard to know what the hell was going on. JJ Reddick isn't going to make the Lakers any better, in my opinion. Defend from start to finish has been the message for a long, long time in every coach's mind ever. Not happening consistently in L.A. If players could sub out on the fly, L.A. would be a much better team.

So the Knicks lost two in a row and Kamala lost. I'm surprised at the lack of suicidal ideation i'm feeling. Today the problem was defense I guess, Atlanta had too much backdoor plays and open threes. Mikal's +/- was -15, I wish he would get his act together. In fact the entire team's +/- was negative, I really don't know what's to be done.

I'm surprised to see The Warriors doing so well although like Charles said on Inside the NBA I doubt they can sustain it. I don't know what is the main difference other than getting rid of Klay Thompson, maybe not having to stick him into rotations helped things. Also what do you guys think about the Cavaliers? I've only seen them play one game so I don't know why they're doing so well. Better Coaching? Hell if I know.

Warriors I wonder about. Cavs are good, even whey they have a "bad" quarter.

Bridges for the block and for the victory.
Brunson is the new "ice man" in my opinion.

Bridges for the block and for the victory. Brunson is the new "ice man" in my opinion. I wouldn't give him that title quite yet, the Knicks are dreadful in clutch minutes this season. I think teams have just figured out how to deal with him by doubling him and the such this year. Bridges is doing better so that's a positive.
BTW, what team do you root for?

I used to be a huge Bucks fan as a child. Then, I cheered for the Pistons once Zeke was drafted. Now, well, I follow the Cavs for the most part because of Donavan Mitchell. As Bridges rounds into form and a healthy Towns continues to fit in, Brunson will be a dagger. That's my take on the plan Thibs seems to have for the playoffs. The Celtics are winning again, which is not good for my mental health. I grew up hating that team. And, well, I still do. I respect their ability to win basketball games, however much I despise that franchise and its "fans" usually known as "assholes" everywhere else on the planet. Philly fans are the pits so watching their team's start has been amusing. They will, I believe, get better, though. I am not sure whether the Bucks are deliberately trying to get Rivers fired or not. Time will tell. I keep hoping that the Kings or the Grizzlies or the Mavs will get going. I really do not want to see the Warriors anymore in the Finals. Boring games most of the time. Green had his latest stupid move upgraded to a flagrant one. Sadly, the Warriors are efficient. James and the Lakers seem to be winning games. Knecht can shoot. If he gets to be a solid thirty-minute guy and the rest of the crew stays healthy enough, then that team could make some noise. Denver is missing Jokic, plus Murray seems to be struggling at times to defend. The team that I keep wondering about this year, though, is Orlando. They have a lot of talent.

I used to watch on and off when I was a kid, mostly the playoffs. I was a Bulls fan then a Sixers and Nets fan back then. Now I root for the home team after really getting into the NBA around 2011 or so.
I keep hearing from Denver fans that Jokic has no help and that Murray isn't worth his contract. From what little I've seen of the Nuggets there seems to be truth to that claim being that from my view Murray can be very inconsistent. Also Jokic's stats are insane I wonder what that team can do with more consistent players.

Bad loss for Cavs against the Celtics today despite having a good chance at winning. On the bright side they came back from a 21 point lead although Darius Garland was playing awful and Donovan wasn't hitting much threes. Which leads me they will be a problem for the Celtics in the playoffs. It doesn't seem like it will be a walk in the park to the finals for the Celtics this season.

Garland had a terrible night, yet the Cavs were in it. Should be a good playoff team. The Celtics are pretty damn good this year. It was an interesting game.

Knicks lost to a 3-12 team last night. When KAT was benched we went on a 17-0 run so that shows you how much his defense sucks. Maybe we'll be alright when Mitch comes back but the Knicks fan in me is reticent to believe that.

He's been our best player offensively but I can't help but feel he's the reason we're in the bottom 5 in defense.

A back up center of any worth will improve the defense big time.
