I remember arguing with someone about whether Ulrich deserved to be in the mental institution. I said yes because he tried to kill a child and the other person said no because Ulrich felt he had no choice; that in Ulrich's mind it would be akin to not killing baby Hitler if he didn't kill Helge. But that completely misses the point that Ulrich's actions set everything Helge did into motion, or were at least a major part of why he was so easy to manipulated by Noah. As well, Ulrich may have been trying to save others, but there are consequences for bloodily bludgeoning a 7 year old boy almost to death, independent of the whole time travel philosophies etc. He had the choice not to do that. But like everyone else, he can do what he will, but he cannot will what he wills. He certainly didn't deserve to be imprisoned for adultery, that's one of the cruellest things anyone does; Hannah punishing Ulrich for not wanting to be with her by letting him rot in an insane asylum. She is the biggest Nazi kant of them all.

Remember when we used to have threads about a TV show and everyone would talk about each episode? I miss that. Binge viewing is a way of life for me but it's ruined weekly episode discussion.

S3 e2 was so fucken booooooorrrinnng. It was all so very, very serious and earnest they seemed to forget to make it entertaining.
They've started so many narratives it almost felt like they were weighed down by them.
