oh yah, I should've clarified that by fight, I mean Greco-Roman grappling my man. I geddit tho., singlets aren't for everyone. So, arm wrestling will be fine and dandy. I will start training Jan. 2nd, or 3rd., but see you in the summer at an arena of your choosing. I'll be inspired.
Also planning to sharpen my guitar skills by jamming with the best. Will restring the old lute on the 4th or 5th of Jan., so as not to overlap with my workout regime...

Ariel Pink and Winston Marshall were both cancelled for political reasons and so they collaborated on this little earworm.

GO-BETWEENS - Send me a lullaby
GO-BETWEENS - Before Hollywood
GO-BETWEENS - Tallulah.
took me the longest time for this band to really click. Over a year. Maybe my longest ever purgatoried persistence until the clouds parted and the sweeping vista revealed itself as the cock and balls at the foot of the Twin Peaks of a mammaried Mt Sinai.
The tumbler was volume activated; too quiet and the music fades into the background as Just Pop. Too loud and no, that's not right either.

New Cheater Slicks album might be their best. Which is crazy Am I on the right forum? Used to be a record store here in town where the jazz/psych guy had NO IDEA about all the rad 90's shit and would dump it all in his bargain bins. I would stroll in on a weekly basis and hoover the whole fucking lot up. Damn I miss that place. Anyway, one day it was about 4 of those Cheater Slicks LP's on the In The Red label for $3 each. Can remember kind of rooting them but not enough for them to really enter my heavy stiffy rotation. Damn I will never forget browsing across a copy of NEUROSIS 2xLP Times of Grace in there priced at $8. FFS. Dude may as well have handed me a $100 bill. Have my own copy and sold his $8 one on same day of purchase, online, for $100.

New Cheater Slicks album might be their best. Which is crazy Am I on the right forum? Listening to it now...As it's not on Bandcamp, I probably forgot about it but now the whole thing is up on YT. Pretty groovy and maybe a little laid-back for them, which is fine. Lucky to see them once in 2000. So deliciously loud. Played with The Onyas who tore it up as well. 1990 2021 (this was a nice pandemic live show)

This Spotlights cover of Black Hole Sun works well enough, although it certainly feels like it's partly relying on you knowing the song and recognising the differences for part of your enjoyment, but then maybe that's most covers.

That Mopo Mogo is great from the name onward even...I think I mentioned here before that whenever I listen to UFO Dictator, I find myself randomly screaming out "UFOCATATOR!!" for at least a few days...in my head mostly but still. Was jamming a YT comp of some early Euro stuff and this song stuck in my headz...turns out they were "one of the first legendary punk bands in former Yugoslavia." UFOCATATOR!! UFOCATATOR!! got this girls many ages ago after reading about them in forced exposure that has 'jeffery i hear you' on it somewhere. must dig it out and give it a spin again. cause at the moment the only other track i can remember is this lovely ode to the adult females of you previous country of residence. to change the pace up a little, heres a pleasant little calming ballad from your current country of residence.

Pretty much all the bar cover bands I ran into in Saigon were from the Phils - none nearly as smoking as these gals and guy...
